{"id":11950,"date":"2023-10-23T11:23:02","date_gmt":"2023-10-23T08:23:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rasanah-iiis.org\/english\/?p=11950"},"modified":"2023-10-23T17:40:21","modified_gmt":"2023-10-23T14:40:21","slug":"prio-delegation-visits-rasanah-signs-mou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rasanah-iiis.org\/english\/news\/prio-delegation-visits-rasanah-signs-mou\/","title":{"rendered":"PRIO Delegation Visits Rasanah, Signs MoU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Monday, October 23, 2023: Founder and President of the International Institute for Iranian Studies (Rasanah) Dr. Mohammed Alsulami and Advisory Board members received a delegation from the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) at the institute\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guests were welcomed by Dr. Alsulami, Rasanah Vice President Dr. Ahmed al-Garni and Advisory Board members, including Osama al-Sanoussi, Mohammed al-Kelabi and Director of Center for Studies and Research Maj. Gen. (retired) Ahmed al-Maimouni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visiting delegation included Research Professor and Director of the PRIO Middle East Centre Dr. Kristian Berg Harpviken and Research Associate Dr. Rev. Trond Bakkevig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the visit was to discuss subjects of mutual interest and sign an MoU to strengthen cooperation and share expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) is a well-established think tank which was founded in 1959 in Norway. It conducts research on the conditions for peaceful relations between states, groups and people.
