I<\/span>ran\u2019s subtle infiltration of Africa has increased due to the regional and international rivalry over this continent. In order to achieve some gains and circumvent its isolation resulting from international sanctions, Iran has aligned itself with several African nations to win their votes in international organizations, to achieve its goals, and to preserve its sovereignty and security against any external threat.<\/p>\n

The international competition for oil and uranium in Africa has entered a new era; the two key determinants of international relations and foreign policy, whereby Iran gives promises of economic aid in energy and construction and sells them oil cheaply as a way of improving their ties with Tehran.<\/p>\n
