The Iranian 1979<br \/>\nrevolution broke down the state\u2019s structure practically and theoretically.<br \/>\nIt abolished the legitimate monarchy and established a theocratic form of<br \/>\ngovernment where clerics took over the Iranian republic through the theory<br \/>\nof the Jurist Leadership.<br \/>\nThis study discusses the intellectual determinants of the Jurist Leadership<br \/>\nOpposition in the contemporary Iranian literature.
