\nThe editorial of Ebtekar deals with the fallout of documentary aired on Iranian state-run TV (IRIB) which showed a teenage girl \u201cconfess to dancing\u201d and posting its videos on Instagram. Many Iranians, in objection to the \u201cTV confession,\u201d released short videos of themselves dancing in the social networks. The editorialist calls out the meaningless cruelty of such programs while questioning their rationale.
\nAccording to the editorial, this documentary blew a serious, dangerous strike on the public trust and Iranian establishment. IRIB officials, once again, wasted the public money by creating such a program and also created a new crisis for the country. Without a doubt, anyone with a little common sense, logic, or conscience wouldn\u2019t approve of the images aired on Channel 1 of IRIB. How can one see blurred images of a 16-year old girl who is crying and not feel upset?
\nThe editorial continues: by this \u201cpropaganda maneuver of IRIB,\u201d what is gained for the country, the establishment, and people? At a time when Iranian people suffer from distrust and economic frustration, and when terrifying news of embezzlement, thefts, infringement on public properties upset Iranian people a day to day, how come the officials have never thought of airing accurate news regarding embezzlements, thefts, and rent-seekers?
\nThe editorial asks: to what extent Instagram videos of a teenage girl\u2019s dance could harm public mental security and public trust? Who was the target audience of these footages? To what extent this issue endangered the moral security of the society? What were the producers of this documentary trying to achieve?
\nThe editorial concludes: IRIB\u2019s measures aren\u2019t defensible by any logic. If leaders of the country are after creating unity and solidarity among people, they must think of a solution for such arbitrary moves of IRIB. Undoubtedly, the first step to create the unity and solidarity is creating essential changes in IRIB\u2019s method.
\n An editorial in Ebtekar on July 11, 2018<\/a><\/p>\n

Europe\u2019s incentive package in deadlock<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe editorial of Arman daily deals with the reason why Europe\u2019s incentive package to preserve the nuclear deal didn\u2019t manage to meet Iran\u2019s demands.
\nAccording to the editorial, even though Iran made all diplomatic efforts to get the best incentive package from Europe, Iran\u2019s foreign ministry officially received some general outlines and Europe\u2019s commitment in support of the nuclear deal (JCPOA). Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed disappointment with the incentive package, calling it lacking in executive plans and more of generalization. Why weren\u2019t the expectations of Islamic Republic met, and the constructive points which were prepared beforehand were not stipulated in the incentive package?
\nThe editorial continues, some of the points unofficially mentioned by Europeans included support for 10 billion dollars of investment in Iran by Iranian and European investors, guaranteeing the purchase of Iran\u2019s oil about 1 million barrels per day, etc. Why did European incentive package change in the last minute?
\nThe editorialist holds that Europe seems to have fallen in doubts as to Iran\u2019s intentions. Europeans hoped that with offering the incentive package to Iran and decisively supporting JCPOA, Iran would stand by them. Under such conditions, Islamic Republic should have taken into account Europe\u2019s consideration so that Iran doesn\u2019t end up strengthening its own opponents in European Union. After Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani threatened to shut Hormuz Strait and an Iranian diplomat was charged with terrorist measures, it should have been expected that Europe would change its course.
\nIn conclusion, the editorial says that perhaps Iran must first decide what it intends to do: does it want Europe\u2019s incentive package to be the solution to counter the U.S. sanctions; or is it going to follow the opinion of certain people in Iran who believe that the cooperation with Europe must be disrupted at any price?

\nThe editorial of Ebtekar news focuses on liquidity growth in Iran in the past two years.
\nAccording to the Central Bank of Iran\u2019s report, the liquidity growth from December 2015 to December 2017 has been 520 thousand billion tomans – from 925 thousand billion tomans to 1,445 thousand billion tomans. These numbers show that in the past two years, the volume of liquidity has increased more than 56%. If this growth is without gold backing, it means that the explosion of prices in foreign currency and gold markets is not unreasonable.
\nThe editorial continues: liquidity growth in most of the industrial societies is usual, and it is not proportionate with their economic growths. And it even happens that governments might print money without gold backing and would later take the money out of the money circulation.
\nThe editorial then adds: Iran doesn\u2019t have industrial growth; doesn\u2019t have a healthy financial-monetary system; doesn\u2019t have any striking capacity in export; doesn\u2019t have reliable economic relations with the world. Iran\u2019s only hope is selling oil which is tantamount to selling crude oil. Given all these factors, the question is: what has been the necessity of pumping liquidity to the market during past two years?
\nThe editorial concludes: \u201csuch behaviors become more worrying when we realize that someone like Masoud Nili, senior economic advisor of the Iranian president, has resigned from his position for more than 10 months,\u201d and no one seems to listen to economic experts.
