During a three-day visit to Pakistan, Rasanah (the International Institute for Iranian Studies) visited the NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS), concluded a cooperation agreement outlining areas of mutual interest. Founder and President of Rasanah Dr. Mohammed Alsulami and Director General of NIPS Dr. Ashfaque Hassan Khan stated that both think tanks are committed to developing a tangible program of collaboration.
During the visit, Rasanah’s delegation headed by Dr. Mohammed Alsulami and accompanied by Board Member of Rasanah and Saudi Arabia’s former Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Dr. Ali Awadh Asseri and Director of Rasanah’s Research and Studies Center Retired Maj. Gen. Ahmed al-Maimouni participated in an intensive roundtable on fostering comprehensive Pak-Saudi cooperation with Pro-Rector Planning & Resources NUST Abid Ejaz Kahloon, senior members of NUST and with the faculty of the NUST School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H) and NIPS experts.
