On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, 2018, the Head of the Arabian Gulf Centre for Iranian Studies (AGCIS), Dr. Mohammed Alsulami and the Head of the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, Wahid Abdulmajeed signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on mutual research and scientific cooperation.
The MoU includes 1- the exchange of lecturers, 2- the preparation of strategic studies, 3 the training of researchers, 4- the provision of consultation on Iranian affair 5- the participation in annual strategic research assessments.
Also, the MoU emphasized the sharing of publications, researcher programs, holding mutual meetings, conferences, and workshops, along with sharing databases and activating an international assessment program for evaluating their impact on policy.
It is worth mentioning that the 2-year old Riyadh-located AGCIS was recognized last month by the TTCSP as the best Saudi Think Tank, 10th in MENA and the 28th best Center on regional studies.
