Rasanah Signs an MoU With Uzbekistan’s Institute for Advanced International Studies

The International Institute for Iranian Studies  (Rasanah), represented by its Founder and President Dr. Mohammed  Alsulami signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan’s  Institute of Advanced International Studies (IAIS) at its  virtual inauguration ceremony—chaired by IAIS Deputy Director Akram Umarov.   The signing ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yousif Saleh Algahrah. The MoU was signed with the aim to enhance the mutual collaboration  in research and training between the two institutes.

It is worth to mention that IAIS, founded on July 23, 2022, is an independent, nonprofit international and interdisciplinary research institute at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) in Uzbekistan, which was established on 1992, and is functioning under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and sponsored by Uzbekistan’s president. 

IAIS includes a host of research centers: the Center for Anthropology and Conflictology, the Center for Sustainable Development, the Center for International Law, the Center for Energy Geopolitics, the Center for European Studies, the Center for Afghanistan and South Asian Studies, the Center for Asia- Pacific Studies, the Center for American Studies, and the Center for Economic Diplomacy.
