The sixth day of Iranian protests and the death toll is on the rise, reaching 24 victims, according to some media figures. According to ISNA, during a meeting with senior judicial officials, the head of Iran’s judiciary, Sadiq Larijani, vowed to arrest the demonstrators, calling on all security officials to “take the necessary measures.” He said, “We will not allow the rioters to threaten the internal security.” He added, “Standing up to the demonstrators is the real test for those who believe in the jurist leadership.” And, “People who have demands should proceed by legal means only.”
