The International Institute for Iranian Studies “Rasanah” is participating in the fifth Jeddah International Book Fair, held in Abhur Al Junoobiyah during the period of December 11 to 21, 2019. Through its booth (A35), the Institute is exhibiting a number of its publications on Iranian regional and international affairs, including: The Iranian Issues series (IIS), The Annual Strategic Report in Arabic and English, and The Journal of Iranian Studies (JIS). This is in addition to a number of books, including: The Military Institution in Iran Between the State and the Revolution; Shia Jurisprudence of Mahdism; Iraq’s Centrality in Iranian Strategic Mindset; The Other Arab in Modern Iranian Mentality; Towards a New Strategic Thinking; Iran Supreme Leader Usurped Power; Khomeini in France; the Iranian Role in Yemen; Iranian Incursion in the Arab Maghreb Countries; Democracy in Iran; Iran’s Presence in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa; and Factional Protests and Social Mobilization in Iran.
The Institute will also display the book titled “Iran’s Software Piracy and Digital Militias: Its Threats and Unannounced War Against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”, which is authored by the Iraqi writer Hassan Mudhafar Alrazu. The book deals, throughout its five chapters, with the increasing likelihood of electronic warfare and digital threats. The book also sheds light on the attacks mounted by Iran’s digital militias on the digital space of Saudi Arabia and proposed Saudi plans to counter such threats. It is noteworthy that the International Institute for Iranian Studies (Rasanah) had previously participated in many book fairs both inside and outside the Kingdom, including: Cairo International Book Fair, Beirut International Book Fair, Riyadh International Book Fair, Jeddah International Book Fair, Qassim Book Fair, Frankfurt Book Fair, Lahore Book Fair, and Sharjah International Book Fair.
