On Sunday, June 13, 2021, the ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan visited the headquarters of the International Institute for Iranian Studies (Rasanah) in Riyadh. Rasanah Founder and President Dr. Mohammed Alsulami welcomed them and provided an overview of the institute and its publications and activities. During the meeting with Rasanah’s researchers and advisors, views were exchanged on several regional and international issues, in addition to ways of enhancing cooperation.
Alsulami stressed the importance of establishing links between Rasanah and research centers in their countries in order to develop relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus. The ambassadors expressed their happiness with the visit, which they described as rich, stressing the need for cooperation between Rasanah and think tanks in their countries.
