President of Rasanah Meets With Director of Tajikistan’s CSR Think Tank

Founder and President of Saudi Arabia’s International Institute for Iranian Studies (Rasanah)  Dr. Mohammed Alsulami met with the Director of the Center for Strategic Research (CSR) under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khairuddin Osmanzadeh. 

Mr. Osmanzadeh welcomed Dr. Alsulami to Tajikistan and provided a brief overview of the center’s main activities. He added that one of the center’s main priorities is to strengthen and expand scientific and research relations with foreign think tanks and partner institutions, and he expressed his enthusiasm for the establishment of scientific relations and extensive research between the CSR and Rasanah.
Dr. Alsulami thanked Mr. Osmanzadeh for his hospitality  and gave him a brief overview of the institute’s scholarly and research activities. Dr. Alsulami stated that the institute’s primary goal for the time being is to strengthen scholarly and research ties with counterparts in Persian-speaking countries such as Tajikistan and Afghanistan. “Rasanah seeks to establish fruitful scholarly and research collaboration with  prestigious Tajik think tanks, particularly the CSR.”
At the end of the meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of future effective cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding between the Tajik think tank and Saudi Arabia’s Rasanah. They emphasized that the text of this memorandum has already been prepared and will be signed in the near future.
Additionally, the meeting addressed major issues in the region and around the world, particularly the prospects for security in Central Asian countries.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Akram Karimi, Tajikistan’s ambassador to Riyadh, and the center’s deputy director Parviz Mohammad-Zadeh, as well as the center’s head of office Amid Davlatov.
