The Iranian Mashregh Newspaper reported that during President Rouhani’s speech about the budget chart of 2017 in the Iranian parliament’s open session, Ahwazi MPs objected about the lack of attention to the air pollution problem in Ahwaz province.
The Newspaper added that MPs Abdullah Sameri and Jalil Mokhtar have objected for the president over dust and adverse weather conditions in Ahwaz. MP Sameri shouted, “The president talked about everything today, but he didn’t say anything about Ahwaz, while 5 million people are dying there.”
